(Not a backstory, but more one for anyone to kinda just pop in and say Hi)
The sun rose slowly over Telara, silvery streaks of light breaking through the velvety darkness of night. In Sanctum the vendors were setting up shop, calling out to their wares as the various Ascended rushed by. From a fairly secluded location on the island by the bridge, bright green eyes glanced at the approaching dawn then went back to the task at hand as Wynter prepared to head out. Shining pieces of silver armor laid on the ground as she used a currycomb to brush out the snorting war stallion.
"Paramour would you please hold still? The sooner we get set and get our supplies the sooner we can be out on the road"
The horse nodded like he understood, then resumed his prancing in place, his tether stretching. Wynter couldn't help laughing a bit. "I know I know you want to get going but let me finish brushing you" Paramour's only response was to whinny loudly, to which Wynter just shook her head and went back to brushing him and wondering what her fellow guildmates were up to.

Goldberry was still getfting used to being an Ascended. She had never been one with a close relationship with the Gods, and found it hard to believe that she of all the others that had fought and died defending Telara had been Chosen. What was so special about her, she wondered.
She wandered around Sanctum, bow slung across her back, relishing the respite from the last invasion. "I have never see a tree so enormous, let alone walking!!" she thought to herself.
Having only just been Ascended she was still new to this reality. She had traveled for days to reach this Capitol city of the Guardians and was thoroughly impressed. She had never seen an Auction House before. The Artificers crafting beautiful jewelry, the armor and weaponsmiths toiling, sweating beating metal to their whims.
She spotted a stable with a gorgeous mare being lovingly brushed and spoken to as a loved one. She was happy that not all goodness was gone from the world. Regulus had not won just yet...
