...still sucks.
Downloaded the WoW client today, did the "free trial." It still blows chunks. Cataclysm broke it forever, I fear.
Good thing there's RIFT!
Just thought you'd all like to know. ;D

Thanks Mal, I never really got into WoW. It was way too cartoony for me.

Yeah. WoW is pretty cartoony but it used to have some really nice voice acting in it. Unfortunately, for Cataclysm, it seems like Blizzard got Bob from accounting and Sue from hardware support to do the voices. :/ Sad, sad, sad.

wow lost my interest after the end of wrath. and then i did the whole of zin-azshara, and really liked it. but beyond the actual zone-wide quest chains, it bored me. then transmog came out, and i was all happy to not hafta carry my transcendence and absolution around. but then i was still bored. wrath is what broke wow, not cata. and some of the VA was superb. unfortunately, every time i think of thralls voice actor, i always think of alistar from league of legends, because it was the same VA. i just wish they wouldve stopped screwing their lore. afaik, trion hasnt screwed their lore 3 ways to sunday. but its only been 1 year.....

What broke WoW for me was the talent changes right before Cata and the complete redesign of the gear and stat balancing. I was tired of relearning how to play my class and said to hell with it. Plus after downing LK there was little left to really do in my mind.
I want Good Old School EQ back...hmmmmm...
